What is a super visa?
A super visa is a multi-entry temporary resident visa that allows you to visit your children and grandchildren for up to two years in a single entry.
Who are eligible to apply
- Parents of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Grandparents of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
What do you need
- Medical insurance from a Canadian insurance company valid for a minimum of one year from the day you enter Canada with a coverage of at least $100,000
- Immigration medical examination
- Apply from outside of Canada
What your child or grandchild needs to support your application
- Notice of assessment (NOA) or T4/T1 for the most recent tax year
- Employment insurance stubs
- Employment letter with the salary and the date of hiring
- Bank statements
